Why do we question?
I was feeling a little far from God, and He nudged me to open His Word.
I am reading through Romans. It is amazing what jumps out now that didn’t jump out before.
I felt very convicted.
How often do we walk outside, see the sky and trees without really registering they are there, and continue mulling over our worries?
God: “I created the sky.”
Us: “I wonder how I will come up with the money to make that payment?”
God: “I created the trees.”
Us: “What if the news from the doctor is bad?”
God: “I created the grass.”
Us: “My marriage is falling apart. I don’t think we will ever reconcile.”
God: “I created you.”
Us: “We will never make it now that I’ve lost my job!”
I am as guilty as anyone of doing this. Romans tells us we have no excuse to question if God is real. The air we breathe and the love we feel is all the proof we need.
What do you fear? God’s got this and He has you too. If you wonder if He is near, go outside and look up, look down, and take a deep breath.
Now walk directly into His hands.

Crista, I love your recent posts. This is simpler but almost more to the point. Your search for the stillness for God is so enviable, we all want that!
Thank you for that blessing, Diane! Happy New Year!!
